아스널은 5일(이하 한국시각) 영국 사우샘프턴의 세인트 메리즈 스타디움에서 열린 2025~2026시즌 FA컵 8강전에서 챔피언십(2부)의 사우샘프턴에 1대2로 패하며 4강 진출에 실패했다.
2003~2004시즌 이후 22년 만의 잉글랜드 프리미어리그(EPL) 정상을 노리고 있는 아스널은 지난달 23일 카라바오컵(리그컵) 결승에서 맨시티에 0대2로 패하며 국내 트레블의 꿈이 날아갔다.
