잉글랜드 프리미어리그(EPL) 레스터 시티가 1년 만에 강등을 확정했다. 시즌 중 부임한 뤼트 판 니스텔로이 감독은 소방수가 되지 못했다.

레스터는 21일(한국시간) 영국 레스터의 킹파워 스타디움에서 열린 2024~25 EPL 33라운드서 리버풀에 0-1로 졌다. 후반 31분 리버풀 트렌트 알렉산더 아놀드의 선제골이 이날의 결승 득점이 됐다.
